Podcast controls shortcuts
Shortcuts for remote control of the Podcasts app’s actions.
Use these shortcuts to customize your ability to skip around in episodes, plus change how the sound is coming out of which device.
Seek to time
Asks you to enter a timestamp, then calculates the total seconds and skips forward that far.
Play out loud
Sets the volume to 30%, starts Podcasts, and sets playback to the current device.
Podcast noise cancelling
Activates sound cancelling on AirPods Pro or AirPods Max, then starts Podcasts.
Move Speakers
Asks you to choose a speaker, then changes the current playback destination there and starts Podcasts.
Podcasts TV
Turns on your Apple TV, opens the Podcasts app, and activates the Remote app on your device.
