iPad shortcuts
Shortcuts for taking advantage of iPad-only features from Apple.
Use these shortcuts to quickly activate your Slide Over apps, plus jump into all the settings for Magic Keyboard-specific features.
Open Slide Over apps
Uses Open App > Slide Over to open your favorite apps in Slide Over – I use 1Password, Music, Twitter, Craft, Notes, and Things.
Edit Universal Control preferences
Opens into Settings > Display on iOS and System Settings > Displays on macOS so you can arrange your Mac or iPad displays accordingly.
Change auto lock settings
Opens the deep link into the Auto Lock settings so you can customize your iPad’s timeout.
Change backlight brightness
Opens the Hardware Keyboard options in Settings > Keyboard so you can change the backlight brightness controls.
Open keyboard settings
Opens the Settings app to General > Keyboard so you can change options as needed.
Change Dynamic Type text size settings
Opens the deep link into Settings > Display > Text Size so you can control how things look on your iPad.

Cross-post to Twitter and Threads
Prompts you to enter in a message, then copies the text, posts it to Twitter, then opens Threads so you can paste the message.
Open the alarms
Uses the Open Tab action to access the Alarms section of the Clock app.
