Shortcuts for capturing to-dos in Things 3.
Use these shortcuts to dictate new tasks, capture new items with tags, insert your daily to-dos, and batch-create tasks with full checklists.
Prompts you to type in or dictate a task if run from Siri, then asks you to choose between “Work” and “Personal” – Work sends the task to the Things inbox, Personal sends it to a Reminders list called Inbox.
Asks to you enter what you’re currently working on, then sets it due 1 minute from now so it shows up on your lock screen.
Prompts you type in new todos in new lines and add them for Today immediately in Things. If you share text in, it’ll use that instead.
Takes a pre-defined list of items inputted in the Text action, splits it by new lines, and adds each to one Things list (a project or Area) along with the same checklist for each task.
Organizes my dual-monitor setup to align side-by-side. When not run from Mac, works remotely using SSH.
Check for contacts whose birthdays are in the next two weeks and displays their name and the date.
Plays my Apple Podcasts station for media discussions and entertainment shows.
