Background Sounds shortcuts

Shortcuts to kick off and switch between the Background Sounds available as an iOS accessibility feature.

Use these shortcuts to quickly control the Background Sounds feature that’s behind a few menus in Control Center and the Settings app.

Pick a good sound, change the volume levels compared to other media, and reset everything when you want to start fresh.

Set background sounds

Presents a menu of the six options for Background Sounds available in Accessibility—balanced noise, bright noise, dark noise, ocean, ra, and stream sounds—then activates the choice, turns on the sounds, sets the volume to 20%, and also allows sounds during background media at 10%.
