Presents a menu and runs different actions based on which menu item was chosen.
Presents a menu of options for opening into Apple, HomeKit, or Apps stories in the News app.
Opens into the Saved Stories tab of the News app, where you can quickly access news stories you’ve saved for later – I’ll often save multiple stories as I browse, then visit this tab to read them all one-by-one.
Opens into the Audio Stories section of Apple News+ so you can listen on your device.
Opens the News app and switches to the Today tab, showing you Top Stories, Trending Stories, For You categories, magazines, the Editor’s pick, and curated categories based on your past browsing.
Opens to News stories about the NBA, including scores, schedules, teams, and special curated categories for events like the Playoffs.
Opens to the free stories shared by the San Francisco Chronicle for Apple News+.
Uses the Show Topic action from News to open into the main Technology news category, which I’ve found is a good superset or generic term that captures all the best stories from tech subjects I’m interested in before I dive into more specific topics.
Sets the Apple Watch to silent mode, turns on Do Not Disturb, sets the volume to 0% and vibrates if run from iPhone.
Opens the mind map I’ve created in MindNode called “Shortcuts”.
Opens the deep link into the TV app to the Movies and TV Trailers section.
Opens Bluesky to the Settings tab, letting you manage multiple accounts, change basic settings, and adjust advanced account settings.
Opens Feedback Assistant on macOS and presses Command + N to create a new feedback report.
