New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the app Wordy for Apple TV that displays the time in an abstract text style, like “Quarter to twelve” rather than actual numbers.
Opens the Letterboxd app on the selected Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can navigate
Opens the app Fin for Apple TV, which lets you select timers and display them in a huge format.
Opens the YouTube app on a selected Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a video.
Opens the App Store app on the Apple TV so you can browse new apps.
Opens the Unsplash app for Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a set of photos to display.
Asks you to give a search query, then passes it to the Google app to show results.
Starts a cooldown workout, plus sets AirPods Pro to Noise Cancellation.
Asks you to enter a query, then activates Spotlight search and shows results.
Opens the deep link into Settings > Accessibility > Audio Descriptions where you can toggle the feature on or off to, when available, automatically play audio descriptions.
Simulates the keyboard shortcut for Command + Shift + D, which activates the Perplexity voice dictation in the search bar so you can enter a query hands-free.
Asks you to describe an image or takes an image from input, then to choose an art style, then creates an image and shows it to you (plus saves it to Image Playground).
