Uses the Show Topic action from News to open into the main Technology news category, which I’ve found is a good superset or generic term that captures all the best stories from tech subjects I’m interested in before I dive into more specific topics.
Opens to News stories about the NBA, including scores, schedules, teams, and special curated categories for events like the Playoffs.
Opens into the special News+ Spotlight section of the News app curated by Apple editors, including sections like Conversation Starters, Better Living, Weekend Reads, Good News, and Best of News+.
Opens to the Apple News Today podcast category, where you can find individual episodes published as stories as well as links to articles mentioned in the show.
Opens into the Saved Stories tab of the News app, where you can quickly access news stories you’ve saved for later – I’ll often save multiple stories as I browse, then visit this tab to read them all one-by-one.
Opens the News app and switches to the Today tab, showing you Top Stories, Trending Stories, For You categories, magazines, the Editor’s pick, and curated categories based on your past browsing.
Opens the PCalc app for Apple TV and shows the remote so you can perform calculations on the big screen.
Opens the Wallet app to the rewards card for your local coffee shop.
Scrapes out any list elements like dashes, asterisks, or double brackets so you’re left with only new lines of text.
Gets addresses from the clipboard or shared as input, presents a menu if more than one is found, and then gives options for sharing it, showing it in maps, getting directions, getting travel time, or sharing the Maps URL to that spot.
