New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the SpeedTest app for Apple TV which lets you check your internet’s upload and download speeds.
Opens the Unsplash app for Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a set of photos to display.
Opens the app Fin for Apple TV, which lets you select timers and display them in a huge format.
Opens the VSCO app for Apple TV where you can select photosets to display in an abstract gallery.
Opens the YouTube app on a selected Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a video.
Opens the MasterClass app for Apple TV so you can browse or continue watching a lesson.
Asks you to enter a query, then passes it to Arc Search and opens the results.
Shares the link to your Apple Music profile found in the Music app.
Takes the current location of the device, extracts the altitude, then displays it in a result or speaks it when run from Siri.
Takes an image from Photos or Files and encodes it into a long string of characters than be decoded back into the original image.
Asks you to pick a focus mode, then toggles the current Music Focus Filter setting for “Use Listening History” so you can switch whether or not to Use Listening History for a chosen focus with an existing filter. Works well as a Control in Control Center.
Activates Spotlight search without a query, ready for you to type before showing results.
