New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the app Wordy for Apple TV that displays the time in an abstract text style, like “Quarter to twelve” rather than actual numbers.
Opens the app Play for YouTube on an Apple TV of your choice so you can select videos you’ve saved for later to open in the YouTube app.
Opens the app Lumy for Apple TV, which lets you see relevant times for sunrise and sunset so you can know when to take the best photos.
Opens the YouTube app on a selected Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a video.
Opens the Unsplash app for Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a set of photos to display.
Opens the MasterClass app for Apple TV so you can browse or continue watching a lesson.
Opens the App Store app on the Apple TV so you can browse new apps.
Opens the link to the Search field in Notion Mail so you can start typing your query in the search box.
Activates Sidecar for a larg iPad Pro near your Mac. Works remotely from iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and HomePod using Siri over SSH.
Turns on my living room, turns off your alarm in case you’ve woken up before it, and softly plays the radio station on my HomePod.
Toggles the Color Filters accessibility setting, which can turn your device black or white and remove all color if set to grayscale (among other options).
Plays the latest episode of weekly technology shows in my custom Podcasts station.
Create a single-use sign-in to your WiFi network, letting people access your internet but not always be able to log in.
