New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the RadarScope app for Apple TV that lets you see large weather maps and see conditions in your area.
Opens the YouTube app on a selected Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a video.
Opens the App Store app on the Apple TV so you can browse new apps.
Opens the app Play for YouTube on an Apple TV of your choice so you can select videos you’ve saved for later to open in the YouTube app.
Opens the app Wordy for Apple TV that displays the time in an abstract text style, like “Quarter to twelve” rather than actual numbers.
Opens the Criterion Collection app for Apple TV that lets you view films from the catalog.
Cancels the next-most timer running in the Clock app. If there are multiple timers, the second timer will continue running unless this action is used again.
Opens the Google app to the Lens function so you can use your phone’s camera to scan the environment around you and perform AI functions like real-time translation of street signs.
receives a photo from the Share Sheet ( or asks you to pick one) and passes it to the Google app to the Lens feature, using it as a search input and showing you results based off what it sees.
Opens the Google app to the Lens feature and looks for text to translate using the camera.
Opens into the Touch section of Accessibility settings to let you control features like AssistiveTouch, Reachability, Haptic Touch, Touch Accommodations, Tap or Swipe to Wake, Shake to Undo, Prevent Lock to End Call, Call Audio Routing, and Back Tap control
