New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the Criterion Collection app for Apple TV that lets you view films from the catalog.
Opens the MasterClass app for Apple TV so you can browse or continue watching a lesson.
Opens the PCalc app for Apple TV and shows the remote so you can perform calculations on the big screen.
Opens the VSCO app for Apple TV where you can select photosets to display in an abstract gallery.
Opens the SpeedTest app for Apple TV which lets you check your internet’s upload and download speeds.
Opens the Unsplash app for Apple TV, then shows the Remote so you can select a set of photos to display.
Connects to AirPods Pro using the AirBuddy app for Mac. Also checks if a connection can be made and alerting you if the device isn’t found.
Creates a blank document without any paragraph formatting – good for making an empty page to fill with shapes, images, or other Pages capabilities.
Records audio using the phone’s mics, then saves the file and asks you if you want to share it.
Pulls 25 items from the MacStories main RSS feeds and asks you to choose which to open in Safari.
Opens the Accessibility settings for the Apple TV Remote, which include changes the swipe gestures to Directional Buttons only, and Live TV Buttons for guide and channel buttons.
Opens the Health app into the Sleep category so you can check data tracked by Apple Watch or other apps.
