New in the Shortcuts Library: Apple TV Apps shortcuts
While updating my Apple TV Remote shortcuts for multiple devices, I cleaned up my Apple TV apps and built out a new set of shortcuts to open them all.
Opens the RadarScope app for Apple TV that lets you see large weather maps and see conditions in your area.
Opens the app Play for YouTube on an Apple TV of your choice so you can select videos you’ve saved for later to open in the YouTube app.
Opens the PCalc app for Apple TV and shows the remote so you can perform calculations on the big screen.
Opens the Criterion Collection app for Apple TV that lets you view films from the catalog.
Opens the SpeedTest app for Apple TV which lets you check your internet’s upload and download speeds.
Opens the app Wordy for Apple TV that displays the time in an abstract text style, like “Quarter to twelve” rather than actual numbers.
Opens the app Lumy for Apple TV, which lets you see relevant times for sunrise and sunset so you can know when to take the best photos.
Opens to the Feeds tab of Bluesky, showing My Feeds and the Discover New Feeds section.
Opens the Lists tab of Bluesky, showing your user-created lists and letting you create a new one.
Pauses Sound Recognition and turns off listenign for Sirens, Fire Alarms, Smoke Alarms, and Shouting.
Asks you to enter a destination, then opens driving directions in Apple Maps.
Opens the Setups page on the MacStories website where the team shares about their devices and desk setups in-depth.
Given a dictionary of Bluesky List names and unique IDs (from the URL), this prompts you to choose from your lists and opens it to the feed view.
