Count
Counts the number of items, characters, words, sentences, or lines passed as input.
Note (from Apple, for real)
This is just like the Count in Sesame Street, but instead of a vampire, it’s a Shortcuts action.
Designed for running your shortcuts from the Action Button, this shows shortcuts from the visible app or by Focus Mode if not in an app. When in Work mode, also presents option to edit the shortcut. Also, using Orientation, sets DND if face-down and if upside down in pocket, opens Maps directions home.

Toggles the state of AirPlane mode on or off (depending how it’s currently set).
Activates Spotlight search without a query, ready for you to type before showing results.
Activates or deactivates Control Center (depending on its current status) – works best with Siri.
Returns to the Home Screen immediately, dismissing any active apps, Home Screen pages, or Control Center screens.
Toggles the Always On Display for the current iPhone, switching between an ambient display or the black screen when not in use.
Asks you to pick from a list of all available apps sorted in alphabetical order and opens your choice.
Opens the My Sample section of the Books app to show books that you’ve downloaded previews for.
Asks you to pick a date, then extracts the month, year, & day values, then opens the URL to the Day view in Notion Calendar. Defaults to tomorrow.
Open the Subscriptions page of the App Store where you can manage recurring purchases for your apps.
Prompts you to “Ask anything” before opening into Perplexity to search for your query.
Pulls random photos from your Home Screen and Lock Screen albums, then sets them as your wallpaper accordingly.
Opens transit directions from your current location to your home address.
