New for members: Things beta shortcuts
Hey members, I've just published 11 new shortcuts from today's stream featuring the new actions from the Things beta.
Choose from URLs in the Research area to open.
Generate a widget chart based on your completed vs total tasks for the day.
Opens Things for Mac on the current device or remotely via SSH from other devices.
Picks a random Area, then a Project, then opens it in Things.
Generate deep links into the Things app by typing in a list of tasks or projects or areas.
Asks you to pick from tasks assigned to Today and opens any URLs in the Notes.
Takes an item ID and adds it to the Things deep link back to that item.
Opens the Tax page of QuickBooks Self-Employed so you can stay on top of tax bills, due dates, and other notices.
Accepts text from the shortcut input, asks you to type out your preferred style, then asks ChatGPT-4 to update your text, returning only the summary.
Opens into the Health app to the Medication Records section of your Health Records where you can “connect to your providers to see your health records and get updates when there’s a new entry.”
For a given contact, asks you to enter a payment amount (which is then divided by 2), then asks for a description, and sends the split total as a payment to the contact.
Prompts for dictation, then starts a timer for the given number of minutes.
